I'llony is not a company that sells flowers.
Through flowers, we bring beauty back into daily life, settle the mind, and offer time that stays in memory. That is our work.
At the heart of our flowers lies an aesthetic unchanged since our founding: the sensuality of the flower, and the balance of nature. We began in Kobe in 2000, and today we send those flowers from three shops — Ashiya, Minami-Aoyama and Paris.

Being a florist stays at the centre.
Every part of our work was born in the flower shop. Three shops, and the artisans who stand in them. The skill and the eye sharpened there become teaching, travel, spaces and vessels. Nothing here was brought in from outside.

Choosing flowers at the market, binding them by hand, handing them over in person. The most important work, unchanged since 2000. We sell flowers today in Ashiya, Minami-Aoyama and Paris, and online. Everything else rests on this being strong.

The people who bind flowers in the shop every day are the ones who teach. What we hand over is not technique for the classroom, but technique that becomes work. From single lessons to the training course, to opening a certified school. Our flowers spread when those who learn open shops of their own.

For those who cannot come to the shop, and for those in distant countries. An online diploma course, and more than 3,000 photographs of flowers taken along the way. What began as a by-product of the shop became work of its own.

Because we have a shop in Paris, we can stand in the Paris market. A week walking Rungis and arranging flowers in private houses. Not sightseeing — the florist's own ground, shared.

A beautiful flower is one in which life can be felt — touched by the hand, yet with its nature intact.
Born in Wakayama in 1975. Founded the maison in Kobe in 2000, opened the Ashiya main shop in 2002, Minami-Aoyama in 2009 and Paris in 2015.
Six photography books, more than 60,000 copies sold. In 2019 he was invited to teach a master class at Flower School New York. To read what he learned in France through a Japanese sensibility and express it as our own flowers: as a florist born in Japan, sending that value out into the world.
