I needed to find the address and route and deliver it.
On Mother's Day and other days when there are large deliveries, like the Paris-Dakar Rally,
Deliveries were made as a team consisting of a navigator (Otochin) and a driver (Taniguchi).

The delivery team has been making smooth deliveries since the morning.
My dad basically stays in the passenger seat, and when we arrive at the destination,
Driver Taniguchi picked up the flowers from the back and dashed to the entrance.

Since it was Mother's Day, there were many deliveries to family apartments and houses.
Around noon, there was a delivery to an apartment for a young single person.
Ah, it overlaps with Mother's Day, but

I was interpreting it in my own way.

As I arrived at the front door, I rang the doorbell and checked the name and sender on the delivery slip.
An elderly woman appeared, which I hadn't expected.
At that moment, I realized that these flowers were also for Mother's Day.

Looking at the address, it was a man who lived far away, so it must have been from his son.
And when I told her, "These flowers were sent from Mr./Ms. X," the woman burst into tears.
It was a selfish misunderstanding and something I hadn't predicted,
The sudden tears made me unable to stop crying for some reason.

As I was driving to my next delivery, I tried not to let my father see my tears.
I was driving with my face slightly facing the other way.
I quit my part-time job at the flower shop after about a year,
When I was 25, I realized that it was time to decide what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
When I thought about it, I thought that working at that flower shop might be the job for me, so I decided to pursue a career in flower.

We talked about movies and Mother's Day memories.
