florist
Female in her 20s (3rd year with the company) Working at the Minami-Aoyama store in Tokyo

Q1. What motivated you to join the company?
I wanted to work with flowers, so I was working as a florist at a major flower shop when I came across irony flowers and was shocked.
It all started when I started attending lessons at the Minami Aoyama store with the desire to "one day create flowers like these."
At some point, that feeling turned into a dream of becoming an Irony florist, so when I heard about the job openings, I mustered up the courage to apply straight away.
Q2. What surprised you after joining the company?
Above all, there is no compromise on the aesthetic sense of flowers.
In addition to how to handle flowers, when facing flowers, you should first be conscious of preparing your own mind.
There is no compromise when it comes to creating flowers. Irony has established its own unique style, and at first I was worried whether I could do it, but they gave me a step-by-step guide to learning, which I am very grateful for. Now, I am being entrusted with more and more work, and I can really feel my growth.

Q3. Is there any job that left an impression on you?
I was once asked to arrange flowers for a world-famous designer who lives near our Minami-Aoyama store, and I was in charge of that.
A few days later, the designer himself came to the store and gave us a compliment on the flowers we had delivered.
Since then, whenever he needed anything, he would turn to Irony.
The flowers I was in charge of representing Irony were,
I felt very confident knowing that such a famous designer liked my design.
Q4. What is important to you right now?
As Irony's code of conduct/credo states,
When I spend time working with flowers, I try to calm my mind, speak only beautiful words, and think about my customers.
By touching flowers every day, I hone my hands and sensibilities.
It feels like it's binding my heart.

Q5. What would you like to challenge yourself with next?
Currently, I work as a florist at Irony, where I mainly handle gift flowers.
In the future, I would like to advance my career to become a trusted florist who can be trusted to plan and organize large events on my own.
As a mid- to long-term dream, I would also like to be involved in product planning for Irony someday.
I am also very interested in spatial design using flower-related miscellaneous goods and utensils, so I would be happy if I could express the ``Irony worldview'' through the products that I propose in Irony's product business.
